Family safaris

A family safari works best when the pace, accommodation and activities reflect the ages and interests of the people travelling. Mvuu Camp welcomes guests of all ages. Days can move between boat safaris and game drives, with time between outings to rest beside the river. Boat safaris and game drives have no published minimum age; guided walking safaris remain for guests aged 18 and above.

Plan around your interests

For a longer journey, Malawi, Together pairs four nights at Mvuu Camp with four nights at Makokola Retreat on the southern lakeshore. Two bases give everyone time to settle in. After the river and safari, the beach, swimming pool, lake activities and open space offer a change of pace. Accommodation is selected around the family’s size and the ages of the children, with timing and activities shaped around their interests.
